*Definition of Narrative Text.*
*A narrative text* is an imaginative story to entertain people.
*A legend* is a ver bisay old story / set of stories from ancient Times or the stories, not always true. That people tell about the famous event/person.
A Narrative Text *includes* Legends, Myths, folktales, and fable. (But here we Will foccus on Legends Narrative Text.)
The Material of Narrative Text u can open ur book and open *page 76-80*
The Characteristics / *Language Feature* of Narrative Text:
• Past tense (killed, drunk, etc)
• Adverb of time (Once upun a time, one day, etc)
• Time conjunction (when, then, suddenly, etc)
• Specific character. The character of the story is specific, not general. (Cinderella, Snow White, Alibaba, etc)
• Action verbs. A verb that shows an action. (killed, dug, walked, etc)
• Direct speech. It is to make the story lively. (Snow White said,”My name is Snow White). The direct speech uses present tense.
So read about *Action Verb VS Thinking Verb* on a page 80.
*EXERCISE*
• Please make your own *Summary / Notes* about These Materials on your book.
Write in detail all the materials that you understand.
• And *Analyze the Legend Narrative Text* on page 78. Please Analyze depends on the *Language Feature.*
